Fidler's Mill is a historic grist mill located at Arlington, Upshur County, West Virginia. It was built in 1847-1849 and enlarged in 1916. It is a two to four story frame building built of yellow poplar on a stone foundation. The mill provided ground wheat and buckwheat for flour, and ground cornmeal, and also housed wool carding machines, which were used seasonally. The mill is now on the Historical Registry.

The real treat the day I visited was the trail leading downriver and the beauty of the falling snow. I watched in wonder as the warming of the day sent melting snow down on the path. The sprinkling of snow falling made me feel as if I was in some magical forest. The farther I went the more magical it became. No one else had yet walked the path and the fresh fallen snow without tracks made me want to sit and soak in the beauty forever. The scents of the snow and pine trees and the sounds of the flowing river were mesmerizing. The sun was beginning to fall and the rays were dancing off the falling snow melt. It was a great visit to the old mill and the nature that surrounds her.
